Danny Lee Hurd is an adjunct instructor for Defense Concepts.

He is also the owner of the Academy of Martial Arts in Henderson, Nevada. Having studied the martial arts for more than twenty five years, Dan holds a 6th degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate, and he's proficient in Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Aikido, Escrima, and Kyusho Jitsu.

He is a Nevada State certified Instructor Trainer in Police Defensive Tactics and a certified Monadnock Police Baton Instructor.
